This wicked 1968 LS Swapped Pro Touring Camaro received a serious 550HP LS Swap and Pro Touring treatment while at The Hot Rod Barn. This is just one of the many LS Engine Swaps we performed.

This first gen Camaro had been sitting in the Arizona sun for decades after being moved by the owner to his home in Illinois. Shortly after arriving into Illinois we received his call wherein he described his vision for a wicked transformation.

After removing the entire drivetrain, we smoothed and painted the firewall and front clip. We then installed a new GM Performance LS3 engine, automatic transmission, Moser Engineering 12 bolt rearend, large Wilwood disc brakes, a BeCool radiator, complete Painless wiring harness, nasty Borla mufflers, and 3″ stainless exhaust. Also, we installed Detroit Speed front and rear suspension which included upper and lower control arms, JRi double adjustable coil over shocks, and drop spindles.

The interior was replaced with a period correct look and feel, with a tasteful enhancement of Dakota Digital gauges. This 1968 LS Swapped Pro Touring Camaro has a great combination of classic looks, an aggressive exhaust note, and modern performance that will make any muscle car enthusiast excited.

Our customer then returned years later for refinements which included metal work, a custom matt-finish paint job, billet grille, window tinting, and HID headlights.
